Proofreading By A UK PhD is looking for an experienced Academic Consultant to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will provide personalized research mentorship, assist with manuscript refinement, and guide clients through the journal publication process. This remote role offers a competitive monthly remuneration starting from Rs50,000. The ideal applicant will have a strong academic background and proven expertise in navigating international peer-reviewed publishing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one research mentorship tailored to individual academic needs.
- Assist clients in refining manuscripts to meet high standards of academic writing.
- Support authors in preparing submissions for journals indexed in reputable databases.
- Provide guidance on publication strategies and peer-review protocols.
- Collaborate remotely with clients to ensure timely and effective consultancy services.
Required Qualifications:
- A Master’s or PhD degree in Policy Studies, Political Science, or a closely related field.
- Proven publication record as the first author of at least one article indexed in Scopus or Web of Science (WoS).
- Exceptional command of formal academic English and a thorough understanding of international peer-review submission procedures.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- First-author publications in Q1 or Q2 high-impact journals are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in quantitative research tools such as IBM SPSS, SmartPLS, or AMOS.
- Experience with qualitative research software including NVivo, ATLAS.ti, or thematic coding methods.
- Familiarity with programming or computational tools like Python, R, or Deep Learning techniques is an added advantage.
