Account Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented finance professional with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team at the Head Office in Lahore. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing invoicing processes, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. This position requires strong expertise in SAP and financial compliance to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly and align with company policies and accounting standards. The role also involves close collaboration with auditors and assisting in the preparation of various financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records, including invoices, receipts, employee adjustments, and general ledger entries.
- Oversee and process payments to suppliers, manage customer invoices within SAP, and maintain invoicing records to ensure legal compliance.
- Assist the Business Planning and Finance (BPF) team with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and report preparation.
- Ensure all financial transactions comply with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and internal company policies.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors.
- Review the trial balance monthly and correct any erroneous entries promptly.
- During monthly project financial closings, verify that costs are accurately matched with Project Systems (PS).
- Ensure efficient and accurate coding of transactions in SAP, and rectify postings in the FICO module as needed.
- Verify supporting documents before adjusting advances or issuing further advances.
- Prepare monthly project studies with zero errors.
- Develop budgeting and forecasting reports aligned with management reporting requirements.
- Assist BPF in managing month-end, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain accurate records of offshore entries and ensure they are recorded appropriately.
- Prepare direct and indirect cash flow statements for projects to support financial reporting.

Required Qualifications

- ACCA certification or MBA in Finance.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting.
- Proficiency in SAP, particularly in financial modules such as FICO and Project Systems.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively with auditors and internal teams to support audit processes.
