We are looking for a skilled Account Manager to play a vital role in supporting our company’s financial operations and contributing to overall growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial records, and assisting with reporting and reconciliations. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with other departments to maintain smooth financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain general, sales, and purchase ledgers, including accounts receivable and payable. Perform regular bank, customer, and supplier reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Oversee accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, credit control, and resolving customer account queries promptly.
- Monitor inventory records by tracking stock movements, conducting stock reconciliations, and investigating any discrepancies.
- Calculate product and landed costs, analyze profit margins, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Prepare monthly management reports, profitability analyses, and budget-versus-actual financial statements to support decision-making.
- Assist with cash-flow forecasting, VAT return preparation, and support year-end accounts audit requirements.
- Utilize Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems to maintain accurate financial data and generate reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of ledger management, reconciliations, costing, and inventory accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Educational background in BBA Finance or BS Accounting & Finance.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CMA, or CA (part-qualified) are highly desirable.
- Candidates should have 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
