The Smart School DHA Phase-1, Karachi, is looking to hire a dedicated female Account Officer to join their finance team. This role focuses on managing a variety of accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy of financial records to support the organization’s overall financial stability. The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in accounting and finance, with practical knowledge of tax regulations, payroll management, and financial reporting. This position requires the candidate to work on-site at the DHA Phase-1 location.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate accounts and financial records to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Handle all aspects of income tax, sales tax, EOBI, and SESSI compliance, including preparation and submission of related documentation.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring all statutory deductions and benefits are correctly applied.
- Perform bank reconciliations regularly and prepare vouchers to support financial transactions.
- Generate detailed financial reports to assist management in making informed decisions.
- Utilize accounting software and MS Excel proficiently for daily accounting tasks and data management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, B.Com, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in managing accounts and maintaining financial records with accuracy.
- Strong understanding of income tax, sales tax, EOBI, SESSI regulations, payroll processing, bank reconciliation, voucher preparation, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software is essential.
