The Account Officer role at Saltanat Restaurant involves managing daily financial operations under the guidance of senior finance management. This position requires maintaining accurate financial records, preparing and reconciling ledgers, and assisting with periodic financial statement preparation. The Account Officer will monitor accounts payable and receivable, support cash flow management, maintain documentation for audits, and coordinate with vendors to resolve account-related queries. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi, necessitating a consistent presence at the restaurant to ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain basic financial transactions accurately.
- Prepare and reconcile ledgers regularly to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of periodic financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to support cash flow management.
- Maintain proper documentation and records to facilitate audits.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to address and resolve basic account-related inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field such as B.Com, BBA, or BS.
- ACCA or ICMA part-qualified candidates and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping roles.
- Foundational knowledge of finance principles and a practical understanding of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, simple formulas, and formatting. Ability to quickly learn standard accounting software.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to listen actively and interact professionally with vendors and internal teams.
- High attention to detail and integrity in handling financial data and cash transactions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
