Aslase is a software development and consulting company dedicated to helping businesses create reliable digital solutions, enhance operational efficiency, and confidently adopt modern technologies. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Officer to join our team. This role involves managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, and supporting the company’s overall financial operations. The successful candidate will handle accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, prepare financial reports, perform bank reconciliations, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately record daily financial transactions in the accounting system, including journal entries, vouchers, and ledgers.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor payments, client invoicing, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile inter-company accounts across multiple entities located in the UAE, UK, USA, KSA, and Pakistan.
- Process payroll inputs, employee reimbursements, and expense claims in coordination with the HR department.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including withholding tax, sales tax/VAT filings, and timely submission of statutory reports.
- Maintain well-organized financial records and assist with both internal and external audits as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com, BBA, M.Com). Part-qualified ACCA, CA, or ICMA candidates will be given preference.
- Between 6 months to 1 year of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within an IT, software, or services company environment.
- Practical experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS), taxation, and statutory compliance requirements.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to meet monthly closing deadlines consistently.
- Good command of English communication skills, along with a strong sense of integrity and confidentiality.
