Account Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant / Accounts Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sales tax invoicing, maintaining accurate records in the ERP system, and ensuring smooth coordination between the accounting and sales/marketing departments. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, proficiency in ERP systems, and the ability to handle customer account reconciliations and related financial documentation efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and issue Sales Tax Invoices accurately in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Enter and maintain contracts within the ERP system to ensure up-to-date records.
- Process and record production orders accurately in the ERP system.
- Perform regular reconciliations of customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and process Delivery Orders through the ERP system.
- Coordinate closely with the Marketing and Sales teams regarding customer orders, invoicing, documentation, and related matters.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all accounting and commercial data entered into the ERP system.
- Maintain proper supporting documentation and records for all transactions.
- Assist management by providing account-related information and performing reconciliations as required.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned accounting activities while adhering to internal controls and company policies.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com), MBA in Finance, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Proven professional experience in Accounts or Finance, preferably within the textile or manufacturing sector.
- Hands-on experience working with ERP systems is essential.
- Working knowledge of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) procedures and sales tax documentation.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliation processes, and financial controls.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with prior experience in the textile industry, ERP-based accounting environments, sales tax invoicing, customer account reconciliation, and collaboration with commercial or marketing teams will be given preference.
