Accountant (CA / ACCA)

Core Edge Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant (CA / ACCA) to join their team at the Gulberg, Lahore office. This full-time, on-site role requires working night shifts from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, Monday through Saturday. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, ledger management, and financial reporting. They must be capable of maintaining accurate financial records and managing daily accounting operations efficiently while adhering to deadlines. Strong English communication skills, numerical accuracy, and professionalism are essential to succeed in this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update general and subsidiary ledgers to ensure accurate financial records.
- Record, classify, and verify daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, suppliers, customers, and other financial records.
- Organize and maintain invoices, vouchers, receipts, and other supporting financial documents.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to guarantee timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Review ledger balances and investigate any discrepancies, errors, or outstanding transactions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely financial reporting.
- Ensure all financial records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and comply with established accounting procedures.

Required Qualifications
- ACCA candidates should have passed at least 50% of the ACCA examinations.
- CA (ICAP Pakistan) candidates must have completed the CAF level.
- Minimum of one year of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.

- This position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs120,000 to Rs200,000.
