Accountant (CA /ACCA)

Core Edge Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant (CA/ACCA) to join their team in Gulberg, Lahore. This full-time, on-site role requires working Monday to Saturday from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounting ledgers, and supporting financial reporting activities. Strong English communication skills, numerical accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential to succeed in this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain general and subsidiary ledgers to ensure accurate financial records.
- Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Ensure proper classification and posting of accounting entries.
- Perform reconciliations of bank statements, supplier accounts, customer accounts, and other relevant accounts.
- Maintain and organize invoices, vouchers, receipts, and supporting financial documents.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely processing.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Review ledger balances and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding items.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure all accounting records are accurate, complete, and up to date.

Required Qualifications
- ACCA candidates must have passed at least 50% of the ACCA examinations.
- CA (ICAP Pakistan) candidates must have completed the CAF level.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

The position offers a monthly salary range of Rs100,000 to Rs150,000. Candidates must be willing to work night shifts from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, Monday through Saturday, and be physically present at the workplace in Lahore.
