Accountant (Construction Industry Experience Preferred)

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and supporting the financial operations of various projects. This position demands strong organizational abilities and proficiency in accounting software to ensure efficient and smooth financial management.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily accounts and financial records with precision and attention to detail. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor payments promptly to support ongoing business activities. Prepare invoices, vouchers, and detailed financial reports that aid in decision-making and operational support. Conduct bank reconciliations and perform bookkeeping tasks to uphold financial accuracy. Track project-wise expenses and maintain cost records to effectively monitor and control budgets.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is essential. Candidates should have 2 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software is required to efficiently handle financial tasks. Strong analytical and organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple financial processes simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience within the construction industry is highly desirable, as it provides valuable insight into project-based accounting and financial management. The role is based in Karachi, Pakistan, and requires in-person attendance. A competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs40,000 to Rs100,000 will be offered, commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
