Accountant

Prime Packages Industries is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team in Faisalabad on a full-time, on-site basis. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting and taxation within the manufacturing sector, demonstrating proficiency in financial record-keeping, billing, and reconciliation processes. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently while maintaining accurate general ledger entries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date.
- Prepare and process billing documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Utilize MS Excel extensively for financial analysis, including formulas, pivot tables, and reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities and assist with tax-related documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration (BBA), or BS in Accounting/Finance.
- Alternatively, candidates who are part-qualified CA or ACCA are also encouraged to apply.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounts and taxation, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word, with hands-on experience in financial software and accounting systems.
