We are seeking a detail-oriented ACCA qualified accountant to join our team supporting a US-based client. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with QuickBooks Online and be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and assisting in financial decision-making. This role operates on a night shift schedule and is based in Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for US employees using payroll software.
- Maintain and update accounting records within QuickBooks Online.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations regularly.
- Prepare and submit tax returns and statutory filings in a timely manner.
- Monitor cash flow and develop financial forecasts.
- Assist with budgeting and overall financial planning activities.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial data and generate management reports to aid decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
- ACCA qualification (completed or finalist preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
- Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
