ACCOUNTANT (GENERAL LEDGER & REPORTING)

Dastaq Logistics (Pvt.) Ltd., based at its Head Office in Faisalabad, is seeking a skilled finance professional to join their team. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Finance Manager and play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial operations of the company. This position is ideal for someone with a background in finance, preferably with experience in the logistics or courier industry, who is looking to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and manage daily financial transactions to ensure data integrity.
- Record cash, bank, and journal vouchers efficiently within the ERP system.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and generate comprehensive financial reports.
- Handle accruals, prepayments, and month-end adjustments to support accurate financial closing.
- Prepare trial balance statements, station-wise profit and loss reports, and draft balance sheets.
- Assist with withholding tax and sales tax documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Review accounting vouchers meticulously and provide support during annual audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Finance, or part-qualified ACCA/ICMA.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the logistics or courier sector.
- Proficiency in ERP software such as FINAC or similar systems for financial data management.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Working knowledge of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) withholding tax and sales tax regulations.
- Strong analytical abilities, excellent reporting skills, and attention to detail in financial reconciliations.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
Candidates with prior experience in the logistics industry will find this role particularly suitable. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 150,000.
