Accountant

The Big Book Store, located in Peoples Colony, Gujranwala, is seeking a responsible, organized, and motivated Accountant to join its team. The ideal candidate will be involved in managing day-to-day accounting activities, handling customer interactions, and supporting the online store operations. Key Responsibilities
- Manage basic accounts using accounting software or applications.
- Prepare and manage invoices and purchase orders accurately.
- Maintain daily accounting records to ensure financial accuracy.
- Handle customer calls and respond to queries professionally.
- Oversee the online store operations, including order management.
- Conduct follow-up calls for payment recoveries and maintain communication with customers regarding orders and payments.
- Perform routine accounting and administrative tasks as required.

Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience working with accounting software or related applications.
- Proficient computer skills and effective communication abilities.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage customer interactions smoothly.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Relevant prior experience in accounting or retail finance will be an advantage.
- Salary range between PKR 30,000 and 50,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
- Working hours are from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM with a one-hour break.
- Lunch and refreshments are provided during working hours.
- Overtime work is compensated with additional pay.
- An annual bonus is available based on performance.
- The position requires working six days a week.
