We are seeking a competent and motivated Accountant to join our team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate should hold at least a B.Com degree, although those who are partly qualified in CA, ACCA, or CMA will also be considered. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of relevant experience working as an Accountant, preferably in a Chartered Accountant firm or with exposure to tax-related matters. A strong understanding of accounting procedures, taxation, and financial record-keeping is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of books of accounts and related tasks using QuickBooks accounting software.
- Preparation, scanning, printing, and proper filing of accounting vouchers and supporting documents.
- Maintaining accurate accounting and tax records.
- Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statements.
- Preparation and submission of monthly sales tax returns and quarterly withholding tax statements. This includes preparing withholding tax PSIDs and ensuring timely payment or deposit of applicable taxes.
- Performing any other accounting, taxation, or financial duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum B.Com degree or partial qualification in CA, ACCA, or CMA.
- At least two years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a Chartered Accountant firm or with tax-related responsibilities.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation laws, and financial record-keeping practices.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills.
- Good understanding of Pakistan’s taxation system and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication skills.
