Al Rayaz Hospital Trust is looking for a skilled and experienced Accountant to join its finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing detailed reports, and supporting various accounting functions within the organization. This role demands a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical abilities who can perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. The position is based in North Karachi and requires on-site work from Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and other accounting records. Prepare and verify vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payment documents. Conduct bank reconciliations and manage cash records diligently. Prepare monthly financial reports and schedules for management review. Oversee accounts payable and receivable, along with expense tracking. Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis activities. Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records. Support taxation, audit, and compliance-related tasks. Maintain donor, welfare, and fund accounting records as required. Provide financial reporting assistance to management to facilitate informed decision-making. Coordinate with auditors, banks, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth financial operations. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all accounting records.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) is essential. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience. Proficiency in MS Excel is required, along with knowledge of accounting software or ERP systems. A good understanding of taxation and accounting principles is necessary. Strong analytical and reporting skills are expected. Excellent communication and organizational abilities are important for this role. The candidate must be able to maintain confidentiality and work effectively under pressure. Integrity, responsibility, and a detail-oriented approach to work are critical attributes.
