Our client, located in Shabbirabad, Karachi, is seeking a dedicated and qualified finance professional to join their team as a full-time Accountant. This role involves managing daily bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, and conducting budget reconciliations. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bookkeeping activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and statements to management.
- Conduct budget reconciliations and perform variance analysis to support effective financial planning.
- Maintain detailed financial records and ensure timely processing of all financial transactions.
- Collaborate with various departments to uphold the integrity of financial data.
- Assist in audit preparations and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Manage accounting related to donor or charity funds where applicable, ensuring transparency and proper documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, or CMA are advantageous.
- Two to three years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within healthcare or non-profit organizations.
- Strong skills in bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Peachtree, or similar platforms.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail is essential.
