Accountant

A well-established USA-based retail group specializing in the operation and management of gas stations and convenience stores is seeking an Accounts Executive for its back office in Karachi. The company operates multiple stations under renowned brands such as BP, Shell, and Mobil. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with a dynamic team, including US-based staff, and contribute to the financial accuracy and efficiency of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform reconciliations of sales, credit card transactions, and cash accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies found during the reconciliation process.
- Manage all accounting transactions and prepare relevant financial reports.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with both local and US-based teams.
- Provide support to senior management with various accounting and administrative tasks as required.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial closings.

Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 to 5 years of proven experience in accounting, preferably with a US-based firm.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required; a Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have own conveyance for commuting.
- Age range between 28 to 35 years.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Full-time position with night shift hours aligned to US time zones (6 PM to 3 AM PST).
- Work location is in person at Al Khaleej Tower, Shaheed-e-Millat Road, Bhadurabad, Karachi.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 70,000 to PKR 100,000.
