Accountant

Karsaz (Pvt.) Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and professionally driven Accountant to join its Accounts & Finance Department at the DHA Phase-I location near Gold Mark, Karachi. This role involves managing core accounting functions with a strong focus on taxation, management reporting, banking correspondence, corporate compliance, and company secretarial matters. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with management and external stakeholders within a professional corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day taxation and regulatory compliance matters.
- Prepare and assist in management reports, financial statements, and financial analysis.
- Handle bank correspondence, documentation, and related financial activities.
- Assist with company secretarial, statutory, and corporate compliance requirements.
- Prepare and review tax returns, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate and respond to tax notices and queries in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Assist in budgeting, monitoring receivables/payables, and account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial and statutory records.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax consultants, regulatory authorities, and other external parties.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to taxation, corporate compliance, banking, and financial reporting.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Good understanding of taxation, statutory compliance, and corporate documentation.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Candidates who are CA, ACCA, or CMA part-qualified will be preferred.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs70,000 to Rs100,000.
- Full-time position based on-site, providing hands-on experience in accounts, taxation, and corporate compliance.
