Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accounting professional to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting operations, and supporting month-end closing activities. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily accounting records, including ledgers and vouchers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain detailed cash and bank records.
- Assist in monthly closing procedures and the preparation of financial reports.
- Verify the accuracy of invoices, bills, payments, and related supporting documentation.
- Handle petty cash management and routine financial transactions.
- Support payroll processing, including tax deductions and statutory payments compliance.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary support during audits.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
- Perform additional finance and accounting tasks as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com), ACCA (part-qualified), or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with accounting software or ERP systems.
- Strong numerical aptitude, analytical thinking, and excellent organizational skills.
