Accountant

Trade and Projects (TAP) is looking for a seasoned Accountant with extensive expertise in tax matters and accounting principles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining precise tax and financial records, managing daily accounting operations, and overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial documentation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals.
- Maintain tax records along with all necessary supporting documentation for tax-related matters.
- Record and verify daily financial transactions to ensure their accuracy and completeness.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings efficiently.
- Prepare account reconciliations and promptly identify and resolve any discrepancies.
- Generate financial reports and supporting schedules for management review.
- Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel to organize, maintain, and review financial data.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (minimum requirement).
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in a reputable organization.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate tax records, financial ledgers, and journals.
- Proven experience handling monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
