Accountant

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Accountant based in Karachi, Pakistan, to join our finance team. This role operates during the morning shift and requires a candidate with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will hold an MBA in Finance and be prepared to contribute effectively to the company’s accounting functions. The position offers a competitive salary range and involves occasional travel as part of the job responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to support business decision-making.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, maintaining timely and accurate records.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors during financial audits.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in financial forecasting and planning activities.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures related to accounting and finance.
- Handle tax filings and ensure compliance with local tax laws.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain organized financial documentation and records for easy retrieval and review.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize accounting workflows.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance roles.
- MBA degree with a specialization in Finance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws applicable in Pakistan.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as required for business purposes.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
