Accountant

This role involves managing the financial and sales operations of a car detailing business. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily sales transactions, handling various payment methods, and maintaining accurate financial records. The position requires careful tracking of stock and inventory, as well as preparing detailed financial reports on a daily and monthly basis. Attention to detail is essential to ensure all accounts are reconciled and any discrepancies are promptly reported. Organizing and maintaining all financial documentation is a key part of the role to support smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily sales, expenses, and financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Handle cash transactions, online payments, and maintain payment records systematically.
- Maintain invoices, receipts, and purchase records for all business transactions.
- Monitor stock levels and inventory to support operational needs.
- Prepare comprehensive daily and monthly financial reports for management review.
- Reconcile accounts regularly and report any discrepancies or differences found.
- Organize and maintain all financial documents in an orderly manner for easy access and audit purposes.

Required Qualifications

- 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Familiarity with car detailing services or the automotive service industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets for data management and reporting.
- A responsible and self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
