We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with practical experience in U.S. accounting to join our team onsite at DHA Phase 3. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and be skilled in managing essential accounting functions. This role involves preparing accurate financial statements, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and ensuring full compliance with U.S. financial regulations. The position requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to perform effectively under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
- Maintain the General Ledger and perform account reconciliations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. financial regulations.
- Assist with audit processes and prepare necessary documentation.
- Monitor cash flow and financial transactions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and internal controls.
Required Qualifications:
- ACCA qualified or finalist (mandatory).
- 1 to 3 years of U.S.-based accounting experience (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP principles.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- CPA, CMA, or related certification is an advantage.
- Experience with QuickBooks and Xero accounting software is preferred.
