Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with practical experience in U.S. accounting to join our team onsite at DHA Phase 3. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and be skilled in handling core accounting functions. This role involves preparing accurate financial statements, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and ensuring full compliance with U.S. financial regulations. The position requires strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
- Maintain the General Ledger and perform account reconciliations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. financial regulations and standards.
- Assist in audit processes and prepare necessary documentation.
- Monitor cash flow and oversee financial transactions.
- Contribute to improving accounting processes and internal controls.

Required Qualifications:
- ACCA qualified or finalist (mandatory).
- 1 to 3 years of U.S.-based accounting experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP principles.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- CPA, CMA, or related certifications are a plus.
- Experience with QuickBooks and Xero accounting software is advantageous.
- Full-time position based onsite at DHA Phase 3.
