Accountant

We are seeking a full-time Accountant to join our team in Lahore, Pakistan. This on-site position operates during the morning shift and offers a competitive salary range of PKR 50,000 to 55,000. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in accounting functions, including bookkeeping, financial record management, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and handling expenses related to construction projects. The role also involves supporting monthly closing activities, assisting with audits, and preparing tax documentation. A relevant bachelor’s degree is preferred, though candidates with equivalent education and practical experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records to ensure data integrity.
- Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial information.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
- Track and record expenses related to construction projects, ensuring proper allocation and documentation.
- Support monthly closing procedures to prepare timely financial statements.
- Assist in audit preparations by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Prepare and organize tax-related documents in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting or related financial roles.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping and maintaining financial records.
- Experience with accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Familiarity with construction project expense tracking is highly desirable.
- Ability to support monthly closing and audit activities.
- Knowledge of tax documentation and compliance procedures.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
