We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions and maintaining accurate records to support smooth financial operations. This role involves handling cash, sales, expenses, and vendor accounts, as well as assisting management with financial reporting and control. The position requires a proactive individual who can ensure accuracy and timeliness in all accounting activities within a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily accounts, including cash handling and recording sales and expenses.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and company records.
- Manage invoices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to maintain up-to-date vendor ledger records.
- Prepare daily and monthly profit and loss (P/L) reports to assist management in financial decision-making.
- Support management with financial reporting and internal controls to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial documentation and timely processing of transactions.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Experience with bank reconciliations, invoicing, and ledger management.
- Ability to prepare detailed financial reports such as daily and monthly P/L statements.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and assist management with financial controls.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
