Accountant (US Clients) | Lahore, On-Site

Xerosum is expanding its team and seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our office in DHA Lahore. In this role, you will be responsible for managing bookkeeping and accounting tasks for multiple US-based small business clients. You will work closely with an experienced client accounting team, gaining valuable exposure to US accounting standards and practices. This position requires strong communication skills as you will interact directly with clients to ensure accurate and timely financial records.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for several US clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a monthly basis to maintain up-to-date records.
- Prepare month-end closing activities and generate financial statements.
- Maintain clean and accurate client books, ensuring all records are organized and submitted on schedule.
- Communicate effectively with clients via email and phone to request necessary documents and clarify transaction details.
- Provide support to the team during the US tax season, assisting with related accounting tasks.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. Candidates pursuing ACCA, CA, or CMA certifications are also encouraged to apply.
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero accounting software.
- Strong command of written and spoken English, essential for direct communication with US clients.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Familiarity with US tax forms such as 1040, 1120, 1120-S, 1065, and sales tax is advantageous.
- Experience working with US or international clients is a plus.

- Location: DHA Phase 3, Lahore (on-site).
- Working Hours: Aligned with US Eastern Time, Monday to Friday.
