Accountax Accounting & Taxation Services is seeking a skilled Wordpress Developer with at least three years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate has robust expertise in backend development, security plugins, and web data security. This role involves creating, improving, and maintaining Wordpress plugins and websites focusing on performance, security, and user experience. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and optimized digital solutions that align with our companys accounting and taxation services. This is an individual contributor role with no direct team management responsibilities.
The Wordpress Developer applies advanced skills in both frontend and backend development, including expertise in CSS3, JavaScript, MySQL database management, and responsive design techniques. A strong emphasis is placed on ensuring sites comply with SEO best practices and on-page optimization to enhance visibility and usability. The candidate should be comfortable managing version control environments using Git, developing RESTful APIs using Node.js, and leveraging the WordPress Plugin API. The role demands a keen understanding of security challenges around web applications and the ability to implement appropriate data security measures to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive client information.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Wordpress plugins focusing on backend functionality and security features.
- Implement and manage CSS3, CSS Flexbox, media queries, and responsive web design to ensure compatibility across devices and browsers.
- Design and optimize MySQL databases to support high performance and secure data management.
- Use JavaScript and Node.js to build and enhance dynamic client-side and server-side applications.
- Maintain version control using Git CLI and GUI tools to ensure code integrity and collaboration.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and utilize the WordPress Plugin API to extend website functionalities.
- Ensure web applications follow SEO best practices and perform on-page optimization to improve site ranking and accessibility.
- Continuously monitor and enhance web security and data protection measures, focusing on identifying and resolving potential threats and vulnerabilities in backend systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, content strategists, and SEO specialists to deliver high-quality web solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing Wordpress websites and plugins to improve usability, performance, and security.
- Document development processes, architectural decisions, and security protocols clearly for team reference and ongoing maintenance.
