We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant who is eager to learn and grow in the field of UK accounting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career within a collaborative, high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records for UK clients
Support bookkeeping tasks including bank reconciliations and data entry
Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns
Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with UK regulations
Work closely with senior accountants to deliver accurate and timely services
Perform general administrative and finance-related tasks as required
Maintain confidentiality and ensure data security in all processes
Requirements:
Understanding of fundamental accounting principles
Familiarity with MS Excel and cloud-based accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage – a plus)
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
High attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy
Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
Eagerness to learn and adapt to UK tax and compliance standards
Ability to manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment
Team player with a positive, proactive attitude
Willingness to work according to UK business hours
Education:
ACCA / CMA (Pakistan) – Part Qualified or Higher
