Key Responsibilities:
- Review financial transactions to maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Oversee the preparation and review of value-added tax (VAT) and corporate tax returns, including managing VAT calculations.
- Collaborate closely with the tax team to ensure the timely and accurate filing of corporate and individual tax returns.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff on accounting procedures, VAT computations, and tax return preparation.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, analyze financial trends, and offer strategic insights to support management decision-making.
- Stay updated on accounting principles, tax regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in accounting software and related tools.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor accounting teams effectively.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3-4 years of experience working within an accounting firm environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on mentoring and team development.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CA are highly desirable.
- A solid understanding of VAT, accounting principles, and UAE tax regulations is considered an advantage.
