Accounting Specialist

Sequel Technologies, a software company specializing in healthcare IT and medical billing services for the US market, is seeking a skilled accounting professional to join their team. The position is based in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi, with a preference for candidates residing in Bahria, DHA, or nearby areas. This role involves managing daily accounting operations and supporting financial processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and review journal entries, invoices, expense reports, and payment runs.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger entries.
- Generate financial reports and support management with financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standard accounting principles.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors as necessary.
- Support audits and respond to documentation requests when required.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with additional accounting software is a plus.

Work Schedule
- Summer hours: 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM
- Winter hours: 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM
