Source Code Academia, an international organization focused on developing Muslim intellectual identity and empowering students as global change agents, is seeking a Finance & Accounts Manager with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bahria Town, Phase 7, Rawalpindi. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and detail-oriented professional who can efficiently manage financial operations while maintaining strong ethical standards and alignment with the organization’s mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management: Oversee and process monthly salaries and stipends for employees and interns, ensuring timely payments between the 1st and 7th of each month.
Gratuity Fund Administration: Manage the 10% monthly gratuity deductions for permanent staff, keeping accurate records to determine refund eligibility based on the one-year service policy.
Employee Final Settlement: Handle full clearance and final settlements for departing employees, ensuring all financial dues are processed within 30 days after the regular salary date, contingent upon successful data handover.
Financial Reporting & Budget Monitoring: Prepare monthly financial reports, monitor organizational expenses, and conduct procurement reviews. Present financial summaries directly to the CEO.
Compliance with Organizational Policies: Ensure all financial processes adhere to company regulations, including handling penalties, notice period buyouts, and contractual obligations.
Data Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial and payroll information, discussing financial matters only with authorized personnel such as department heads and the CEO.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting is essential. Candidates should possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and be familiar with accounting software. High integrity and a strict commitment to confidentiality are critical. The ability to work within a structured hierarchy, showing professionalism and respect for reporting lines, is required. Analytical skills to review financial records, identify errors, negligence, or potential financial risks are also necessary.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Candidates with ACCA, CA Inter, or an MBA in Finance are preferred. The organization offers a competitive salary ranging from PKR 80,000 to PKR 100,000 per month, depending on experience and KPI performance.
