We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately recording and processing financial transactions while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role involves supporting month-end and year-end closing activities and requires strong experience with ERP systems. The Accountant will work closely with various departments to maintain financial integrity and enhance accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Record and process all financial transactions, including journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger postings within the ERP system.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and payment processing.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, statements, and reconciliations to support business operations.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions to maintain consistency across entities.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate ERP data integration and resolve related issues.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing for all accounting transactions to ensure audit readiness.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve accounting processes and optimize ERP system usage for greater efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of accounting experience with mandatory ERP system proficiency (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks Enterprise).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles including IFRS and GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within the organization.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience in manufacturing, trading, or services sectors is highly desirable.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA (part qualified), CMA (part qualified), or equivalent are advantageous.
- This is a full-time position offering a monthly salary range of Rs 55,000 to Rs 60,000.
- The role requires in-person attendance at the designated work location.
