Accounts Executive

PostEx is seeking a skilled Accounts Executive with solid experience in payables and invoice processing, ideally within the logistics sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions related to cargo and fleet operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in invoice verification and reconciliation. This position is based at the Head Office in Lahore and requires a detail-oriented professional who can contribute to process improvements and support financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

- Verify and process cargo and fleet invoices accurately and timely.
- Reconcile vendor invoices with fleet records and payment details to ensure consistency.
- Identify discrepancies, control gaps, and inefficiencies in invoice processing and payment cycles.
- Support monthly trip-wise and shipment-wise financial analysis to assist management in decision-making.
- Assist with monthly accounts related to cargo and fleet payables, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date.
- Conduct branch visits to identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide support for process training initiatives and perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Accounting & Finance.
- Proven experience in payables and invoice processing, demonstrating strong attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of accounting processes and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills to manage and resolve discrepancies effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience within the logistics, cargo, or fleet management industry is highly preferred, as it will provide valuable context for the role.
