Our client, Recruit AI, is seeking an experienced Accounts Executive specializing in Retail Accounting and Inventory Management to join Golden Loom Living, located at Karachi Millennium Mall, with a future move planned to Ocean Mall, Clifton. The role requires a professional with 13 years of relevant experience who can efficiently manage day-to-day accounting tasks, purchasing, inventory control, product costing, and retail operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling purchase records, product costing, profit margin analysis, stock management, barcoding, tagging, and sales-related accounts, with strong skills in MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate daily records of sales, purchases, and expenses.
- Record, verify, and manage purchase invoices, supplier bills, and payment documentation.
- Assist in product costing, pricing strategies, and profit margin calculations.
- Keep precise inventory and stock records, working closely with retail and store teams.
- Manage product barcoding, SKU records, and tagging to ensure efficient stock tracking.
- Reconcile physical stock counts with accounting and system records, resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain supplier and vendor data, supporting purchase orders and procurement documentation.
- Monitor and report on stock movement, sales transactions, purchases, and inventory adjustments.
- Support bank reconciliations, cash counts, and sales reconciliations for accurate financial tracking.
- Prepare basic financial and inventory reports to aid management decision-making.
- Organize and file invoices, receipts, and accounting documents systematically.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and other accounting activities as required.
- Collaborate effectively with purchasing, sales, and store teams to maintain synchronized and error-free financial and inventory records.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 13 years of relevant experience in Accounts, Retail Accounting, Inventory Accounting, or a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Accounting/Finance, ACCA, or an equivalent accounting qualification.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Hands-on experience with purchasing, inventory management, product costing, and profit margin calculations.
- Familiarity with barcoding, SKU management, and product tagging processes.
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and identify discrepancies.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work in a retail environment with extended hours (11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Monday to Saturday).
