Key Responsibilities
The Accounts Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Faisalabad. The primary duties include maintaining accurate financial records, preparing vouchers, managing ledgers, and handling accounts payable and receivable processes. The officer will assist with bank reconciliations, support monthly closing activities, and prepare financial reports for management review. Additional responsibilities involve supporting budgeting processes, monitoring expenses, and ensuring adherence to company policies and relevant accounting standards. The role requires collaboration with internal teams, auditors, and vendors to facilitate smooth financial operations and compliance.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate strong core accounting skills such as ledger management, accounts payable and receivable handling, bank reconciliation, and basic financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel is essential, including the ability to work with spreadsheets, formulas, and financial data analysis. A solid understanding of financial regulations, tax concepts, and compliance standards relevant to corporate and agricultural sectors is necessary. Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and excellent organizational skills are critical to managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. Effective communication and teamwork abilities are also important, with a focus on maintaining positive relationships with vendors, colleagues, and management.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce is preferred. Professional certifications in accounting will be considered an advantage. Prior experience in accounting or finance roles, particularly within agribusiness, manufacturing, or trading organizations, will be beneficial for this position.
