We are seeking qualified candidates for the positions of Accounts Officer and Junior Accounts Officer at BHY Hospital, located in Clifton, Karachi. Both roles require dedicated professionals to support the hospital’s financial operations and ensure accuracy and compliance in accounting practices. These are full-time, in-person positions based at the hospital premises.

Accounts Officer

Key Responsibilities:
The Accounts Officer will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis. This role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, overseeing cash flow, verifying hospital collections, and ensuring audit compliance. The officer will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of the hospital’s operations.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should have 3 to 4 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within the healthcare or hospital sector. A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or an MBA with a focus on Finance is required. Partial qualifications such as ACCA, CA, or ICMA are considered an advantage.

Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations is essential. Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and accounting software is also required to efficiently manage financial data and reporting.

Salary Range:
The monthly salary for this position ranges from PKR 70,000 to 80,000.

Junior Accounts Officer

Key Responsibilities:
The Junior Accounts Officer will handle daily transaction processing, including receipts and payments. Responsibilities include performing bank reconciliations, preparing tax challans for salaries and vendors, maintaining tax records, generating fund aging reports, and assisting with month-end closing activities.

Required Qualifications:
Applicants should have 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or BS in Accounting and Finance is required.

Skills:
Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software, with a strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial documentation.

Salary Range:
The monthly salary for this role is between PKR 55,000 and 60,000.
