Accounts Officer

A.J. Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join its dynamic accounting team at the Head Office located in DHA Phase, EME Sector, Multan Road, Lahore. This role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to develop their accounting skills within a professional and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will assist the senior accounting team with various accounting tasks and contribute to the smooth functioning of the finance department. Preference will be given to candidates residing in nearby areas, and applicants must be available for a face-to-face interview in Lahore.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
- Support senior accountants in daily accounting operations and month-end closing activities.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts as required.
- Participate in internal audits and assist with external audit processes when needed.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), BS Accounting & Finance, Master of Commerce (M.Com), or MBA with a specialization in Accounting & Finance.
- Fresh graduates up to candidates with one year of experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
