We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to oversee all aspects of accounts payable and general ledger activities. The successful candidate will ensure accurate processing of vendor invoices, timely payments, and maintain up-to-date financial records. This role involves close collaboration with various departments, including Dairy Farm Accounts and Admin, procurement, and operations, to facilitate smooth financial operations. The position is based in Lahore and requires strong skills in accounting software along with a commitment to compliance and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all accounts payable and general ledger functions efficiently.
- Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile cash inflows and outflows.
- Coordinate with Dairy Farm Accounts and Admin teams to ensure timely payment processing.
- Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Prepare and execute supplier payments via check, bank transfer, or online methods.
- Maintain accurate and current accounts payable records.
- Reconcile vendor statements and promptly resolve discrepancies.
- Respond professionally and promptly to vendor inquiries.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare accounts payable reports for management review.
- Liaise with procurement and operations teams regarding invoice and payment matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and organize supporting invoices, payment documentation, and records.
- Prepare purchase vouchers and bank payment vouchers for vendors.
- Enter financial data into the accounting system, updating records for accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports.
- Book accruals for utility bills, services, and monthly recurring payments, ensuring timely payments.
- Support external audits, tax audits, and tax return preparations.
- Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes.

Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or accounting roles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software.
- Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Lahore prior to starting work.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
- Full-time, in-person work location based in Lahore.
- Competitive monthly salary range of Rs80,000 to Rs90,000.
