Accounts Payable Specialist

Taskaler, a prominent offshore outsourcer specializing in retail-driven services, is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their expanding finance team based in Lahore, Model Town. This full-time role involves managing daily accounts payable activities and supporting client reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the finance inbox daily, ensuring timely acknowledgment and response to all emails.
- Professionally handle internal and external finance-related queries with promptness.
- Escalate or forward specific issues to relevant team members when necessary.
- Process vendor invoices by verifying details and accurately matching them against Purchase Orders.
- Address vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues efficiently.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and intercompany account reconciliations as part of the regular closing cycle.
- Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Provide general administrative and ad hoc support to the finance team.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of accounts payable processes.

Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of practical experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, especially during month-end closing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- A growth mindset with eagerness to learn and improve continuously.
