Intertrade Distributors (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Receivable / Cheque Collection Officer to join their team in Clifton, Karachi. This full-time role requires a motivated individual who can efficiently manage customer payments, follow up on outstanding balances, and support the company’s financial operations. The position demands immediate joining and is open exclusively to male candidates. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring timely collection of payments, including cheque recovery from corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and issue customer invoices promptly.
- Monitor accounts receivable and track outstanding customer balances.
- Follow up with customers to resolve overdue invoices and collect outstanding payments.
- Collect cheques and other payment instruments directly from customers.
- Record and reconcile all customer payments accurately.
- Maintain detailed customer ledgers and payment records.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations related to customer receipts.
- Prepare weekly accounts receivable aging reports to monitor payment status.
- Coordinate with the Accounts and Sales Departments to ensure smooth payment processing.
- Resolve any payment discrepancies or queries raised by customers.
- Visit customer locations as required for cheque and payment collection.
- Engage with multiple corporate customers for cheque collection and payment recovery efforts.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Recovery Executives regarding collections and outstanding payments.
- Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable functions.

Required Qualifications

- Prior experience in accounts receivable, recovery, collections, or cheque collection is preferred.
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills are essential.
- Must demonstrate responsibility, organizational skills, and a target-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations for cheque collection and payment recovery is mandatory.
