Accounts Receivables officer

Kifayat Publishers, based in Karachi, Pakistan, is looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Accounts Receivables Officer to join their Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and taxation, with a focus on sales tax and withholding tax compliance. The position is on-site and offers a competitive monthly salary.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts, receivables, and outstanding balances efficiently.
- Monitor collections and proactively follow up on overdue payments to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Maintain accurate ledgers and perform customer account reconciliations regularly.
- Handle sales tax, withholding tax, and other related taxation matters in compliance with regulations.
- Prepare detailed receivables reports and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of taxation, particularly sales tax and withholding tax.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software to manage financial data effectively.

The monthly salary for this position ranges from Rs65,000 to Rs75,000. This is an in-person role based in Karachi, offering the opportunity to work within a reputable publishing company’s finance department.
