Accounts Rectification & Audit Officer - Boutique Store

Closet is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Rectification & Audit Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in reviewing financial records, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring the accuracy of daily financial transactions. This position demands a meticulous approach to maintaining financial integrity and supporting the company’s accounting processes in a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and rectify accounting entries, invoices, vouchers, and other financial records.
- Audit daily sales, cash transactions, expenses, and purchase documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, and ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Verify accounts payable and receivable records for correctness.
- Identify discrepancies promptly and ensure timely corrections are made.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and prepare detailed audit reports.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve any accounting issues efficiently.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Between 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounts, audit, or reconciliation roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting procedures and financial documentation standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software applications.
- Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and strong analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience working in the retail or boutique industry is an advantage.
- This is a full-time position with working hours from 12 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Saturday.
- The job is located at Lavish Mall, Tariq Road, Karachi.
- The monthly salary range is Rs30,000 to Rs40,000.
- The role requires in-person attendance.
