Accounts Rectification & Audit Officer - Boutique Store

Closet is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Rectification & Audit Officer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing financial records, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring the accuracy of daily financial transactions. This role requires a meticulous approach to auditing and reconciling accounts to maintain the integrity of the company’s financial data.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and rectify accounting entries, invoices, vouchers, and other financial records to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct audits of daily sales, cash transactions, expenses, and purchase records.
- Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, and ledger accounts regularly.
- Verify accounts payable and receivable to maintain accurate records.
- Identify discrepancies in financial data and ensure timely corrections are made.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate financial documentation and prepare detailed audit reports.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve any accounting issues promptly.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounts, audit, or reconciliation roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting procedures and financial documentation standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software applications.
- Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and strong analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience in the retail or boutique industry will be considered an advantage.
- This is a full-time position with working hours from 12 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Saturday.
- The work location is in person at Lavish Mall, Tariq Road, Karachi.
- The monthly salary range for this role is Rs30,000 to Rs40,000.
