The Accounts Reporting Executive is responsible for maintaining precise ledger-based financial records, organizing historical data, and producing well-structured financial reports. This role requires a candidate with strong accounting knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to independently improve financial processes. The position involves handling complex financial data across diverse domains such as e-commerce and real estate. The successful candidate will demonstrate ownership of their tasks, ensuring the accuracy and clarity of financial information while working efficiently during evening hours.
Key Responsibilities
Organizing Data: Manage and consolidate financial data from multiple Google Sheets and files. Structure historical data into clear, coherent formats, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded, classified, and traceable. Develop and implement accounting logic to address any existing gaps.
Financial Analysis & Problem Solving: Analyze complex, unstructured financial data to identify patterns and discrepancies. Use accounting expertise to reconcile inconsistencies, interpret transactions correctly, and maintain logical financial records. Proactively resolve data and accounting issues without requiring supervision.
E-commerce Reporting & Analysis: Extract and analyze data from e-commerce platforms such as Amazon. Prepare detailed reports on product performance, sales trends, and profitability. Identify top-performing products and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to support business decisions.
Real Estate Financial Management: Manage and analyze intricate financial data related to multiple properties and stakeholders. Calculate profit margins, investment returns, and final closing values. Simplify and organize financial information to improve clarity and usability.
Reporting & Coordination: Deliver clear and structured financial reports to management. Collaborate with internal teams to gather missing data, validate records, enhance reporting accuracy, and provide relevant insights and recommendations.
Mindset & Work Approach: Take full ownership of tasks and outcomes with a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Think critically like an accountant and continuously seek ways to optimize the organization’s financial data handling.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including debits, credits, and transaction relationships.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, capable of working with unstructured and scattered data.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- High initiative and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective time management to meet strict deadlines.
- Availability to work the specified evening shift aligned with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience in complex financial structuring, real estate accounting, and e-commerce financial analysis.
- Background in accounting, finance, or financial analysis.
- Experience managing multi-entity or multi-partner financial data.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 70,000 to 100,000, based on experience.
- Fuel allowance and annual leave entitlement.
- Observance of Pakistan and Canadian holidays.
- Five-day workweek (Monday to Friday).
- Work location: In-person at DHA Phase-8, Lahore.
- Shift timing: 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM (PST).
Candidates should be prepared for daily commuting to the designated office and demonstrate advanced Excel skills. Prior experience analyzing e-commerce financial data from platforms like Amazon or Shopify is highly advantageous.
