Position Objective
Data Collection & Data Entry
Mission 1: Data Collection:
- This position is responsible for:
- Conduct household survey within the assigned areas and perform data collection.
- Interview the identified beneficiaries within the project area to ensure the data and info that have been recorded within registered forms.
- Document all the findings in the provided data collection tools.
- Compiling and sorting the filled data collection tools as directed by the supervisor.
- Ensure collected data is accurately recorded.
- Capture data using digital data entry technology provided.
- Identify and report any challenges faced that could affect the quality of the data.
Mission 2: Data Entry:
This position is responsible for:
- Check the quality of the data to be entered and inform the immediate supervisor of any problems;
- Calculate the time needed for data entry and keep your immediate supervisor informed of its progress.
- Input the data from the various tools in the agreed upon format ;
- Check and clean the entered data;
- Summarize the entered data in the form of a report.
Mission 3: Data Analysis
This position is responsible for:
- Elaborate statistics tables to sort and cross the data.
- Write a report on the results.
- Propose improvements in data collection.
Mission 4: Data Filing;
This position is responsible for:
- File the data collection tools and computer data.
- Save the data entries regularly as well as the statistical results.
- Keep hard and Soft data organized.
Mission 5: Data Quality & Reporting Responsibility;
This position is responsible for:
- Inform the Supervisor if any Professional problems encountered in the Data collection & data entry.
- Present the data to the supervisor at the end of each day.
- Report to the supervisor before and after day’s work for further direction.
- Ensure handling in all the completed household visits and verification’s questionnaires for the Day to the supervisor.
Mission 6: Ensure compliance with ACFs gender equality, child protection sensitivity and Safeguarding policies; This position is responsible for:
- Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender, Child Protection and other safeguarding policies
- Implement all work related activities with a gender, inclusion and child protection lens
- Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.
Specific skills needed to perform the function
Education degree: Bachelor University or Diploma preferred.
- Minimum 01 year of overall experience in relevant field in development sector.
- Fluence in English and local languages.
- Ability to work independently and confidence to undergo household visits.
- Be flexible and adaptable with regards to the implementation of the daily work;
- Respect working conditions on the field, especially security rules;
- Good communication Skills
- Attention to detail and adherence to systems,
- Database management Skills required.
- Good Knowledge of MS office is required.
- Conduct all duties in a professional manner following ACF staff regulations and charter;
