We are looking for a passionate, certified Data Analyst. Potential Candidates should be able to turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. You will take large sets of data generated internally via our client’s drop shipping business, carrying more than 50,000 products. Everything is automated and is maintained through the order management system and then reports back on the story it tells.
Responsibilities
- Acquire relevant data from primary or secondary data sources.
- Identify data and interpret, analyze results using statistical techniques, and identify correlations and patterns in complex data sets.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency.
- Use tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs.
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements, and share the story of the data.
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Keep track of critical issues and develop new algorithms to improve performance and profit.
- Work closely with the customer service and operations teams when relevant issues arise to diagnose and solve significant problems.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1 to 2 years of experience in Data Handling,
- Data manipulation operations such as scrapping, merging, cleaning, data wrangling, and task automation.
- Must have an excellent grip on Python(Pandas, Selenium, Scrapy, Beautiful Soup), Power BI, Power Query, and Microsoft Excel.
- Technical expertise in data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of Data with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
- BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics
- Great communication skills
