We are seeking a Seller Acquisition Manager for the North region to lead seller identification, engagement, and onboarding efforts across Punjab, with a primary focus on Lahore and nearby commercial hubs. This role centers on business development, requiring you to build and expand our seller base by actively engaging with the market, understanding seller ecosystems, and bringing high-potential merchants onto our platform. You will lead a team of field associates responsible for sourcing, onboarding, and growing SKUs across various categories. The role demands frequent market visits to wholesale markets, retail clusters, manufacturing zones, and trade events, developing relationships with sellers new to e-commerce or currently working with competitors.

Beyond acquisition, you will leverage data and insights to identify untapped opportunities, analyze category performance, and determine where to deploy your team for maximum impact. Translating market intelligence into actionable acquisition strategies, you will collaborate closely with category management, operations, and seller success teams to ensure sellers onboarded are positioned for success. This mid-senior role requires someone equally adept at negotiating with large wholesale distributors and analyzing acquisition dashboards during strategic reviews.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead on-ground seller acquisition efforts across Punjab, focusing on Lahore and surrounding commercial hubs.
- Manage and motivate a team of field associates tasked with sourcing, onboarding, and SKU growth.
- Conduct regular visits to wholesale markets, retail clusters, manufacturing zones, and trade events to engage potential sellers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sellers ranging from small traders to large distributors.
- Use data-driven insights to identify category gaps, white-space opportunities, and high-potential sellers.
- Develop and execute acquisition plans based on market intelligence and performance metrics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with category management, operations, and seller success teams to support seller growth.
- Monitor team performance through KPIs, providing coaching and accountability to drive results.
- Balance fieldwork with analytical tasks such as reviewing acquisition dashboards and pipeline metrics.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in business development, field sales, or seller/vendor acquisition, preferably within e-commerce, FMCG distribution, or marketplace platforms.
- Proven experience managing a field team, including setting targets and tracking performance.
- In-depth knowledge of the Punjab market, including commercial geography, key wholesale markets (such as Shah Alam, Akbari Mandi, Rail Road), seller communities, and distribution networks.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, capable of engaging sellers at all levels.
- Fluency in Urdu and English; proficiency in Punjabi is a significant advantage for field engagement.
- Analytical ability to work with data tools such as Excel and internal dashboards; comfortable interpreting category-level GMV data to make informed acquisition decisions.
- Willingness and energy to spend 60-70% of time in the field, actively visiting markets and conducting trade events.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
- An MBA is a plus but not mandatory; practical field experience and market knowledge are prioritized.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead seller acquisition in a dynamic market, combining field engagement with strategic data analysis to drive business growth. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy both relationship-building and data-driven decision-making, this position is an excellent fit.
