AcrossClocks is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Junior CAD Drafter to join our team. This role involves creating precise technical drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD software. This position requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to accurately interpret redlines and markup revisions, and proficiency in dimensioning, tolerancing, and CAD scaling techniques. The candidate must be reliable and able to maintain consistent communication with a U.S.-based client to ensure project accuracy and timely delivery. This part-time role offers flexible working hours between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM Pakistan Time (PKT). Although this position does not involve team management responsibilities, the candidate must demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently. The role provides growth potential, with opportunities to transition into a full-time position for those who consistently meet deadlines and maintain quality standards. Effective communication in English and comfort working remotely with international clients are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Create detailed and accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD software based on project specifications and client requirements.
Produce architectural drafting and construction drawings adhering to industry standards and company guidelines.
Apply dimensioning and tolerancing principles to ensure precise measurements and scaling in all CAD drawings.
Utilize AutoCAD Paper Space and Viewports to organize and present drawings effectively for review and approval.
Convert and scale PDF documents accurately to AutoCAD, maintaining the integrity of design details.
Interpret and implement redline and markup revisions effectively, ensuring all changes are incorporated accurately.
Communicate directly and clearly with U.S.-based clients to clarify requirements, address questions, and provide updates on project progress.
Manage time efficiently to meet agreed-upon deadlines consistently while maintaining high-quality output.
Accurately convert between imperial units (feet and inches) as needed for various project requirements.
Maintain reliable and punctual work habits, demonstrating professionalism and commitment to role expectations.
Follow written instructions meticulously and seek clarification proactively when needed to avoid errors.
Maintain organized records of completed drawings, revisions, and communications with clients to support accountability and project tracking.
